The Lindon City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 6:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as possible, on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, in the Lindon City Center, 100 North State Street, Lindon, UT, to consider the following items:
An amendment to Lindon City Code 17.62 updating the Lindon City Flood Damage Prevention ordinance and to comply with the requirements of the National Flood Insurance Act, and to adopt the most recent FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps which go into effect on June 23, 2026 that include the new Coastal High Hazard Areas for Flood Zones V and VE. The application is made by Lindon City.
All interested parties are invited to attend and present oral and/or written comments regarding this petition. Interested parties are encouraged to provide written testimony prior to the meeting at planning@lindon.gov.
