PUBLIC NOTICE March 12, 2026 The Santaquin Police Department is currently in possession of unclaimed property that has been held for a period exceeding 90 days. Ownership of said property remains undetermined, or reasonable efforts to notify and contact the rightful owner have been unsuccessful. The property referenced herein includes items previously seized as evidence that are no longer required for investigative or judicial proceedings, property held by the department for safekeeping, and/or property recovered where the owner is unknown. Such property includes: Ruger Handgun, Smith & Wesson 32 Cal Revolver, Springfield 5100 12 Gauge Shotgun, High Standard Pistol with holster, Saddle bags, Wallet(s), Samsung Cellphone, Leatherman, CommScope Fiber package, Air pods, Pocket knife, Key sets, Jewelry, Hoverboard x2, Miscellaneous clothing and personal items. Pursuant to applicable law and departmental policy, reasonable attempts have been made to notify known or identifiable owners. Any person claiming ownership of property currently held by the Santaquin Police Department must contact the department and provide satisfactory proof of ownership to arrange for the release of said property. If the property remains unclaimed after the legally required holding period, it may be disposed of in accordance with departmental procedures. The date of disposal will be March 30th, 2026.
