Any person wishing to comment on any item pertaining to services provided by the Logan Library may do so during this portion of the agenda after signing in. Comments should be limited to not more than three (3) minutes, unless additional time is authorized by the Board Chair. Citizen groups will be asked to appoint a spokesperson. This is the time and place for anyone who wishes to comment on items germane to the authority of the Library Board. Notice of Electronic or Telephone Participation

Library Board members may participate in the meeting via telephonic communication. If a Board Member does participate via telephonic communication, the Board member will be on speakerphone. The speakerphone will be amplified so that the other Board members and all other persons present in the meeting room will be able to hear all discussions.

Other Information

Meetings are conducted at the discretion of the Library Board, and we ask for your cooperation in maintaining the following: a) Consideration of items will occur as indicated on the printed agenda, although the Board reserves the right to alter the order if the need arises. b) Those speaking are asked to keep comments relevant to the matter being considered. c) Outbursts, including cheers, jeers, and applause are not appropriate as they may discourage those with opposing views from speaking. d) A time limit may be imposed for items involving a large number of people wishing to make comments e) Once the public comment portion for a particular item has been closed, no additional public comments are allowed, unless requested by the Board. f) Anyone wishing to speak is asked to sign in beforehand. g) The meeting is managed by the Chair. All questions/comments will be directed to the Board.
