REQUEST FOR BIDS (RFB) - COMPETITIVE SEALED BID FOR A PROCUREMENT OF CHIP SEAL COATING ROADS.
DOCUMENT SUMMARY:
The Town of Mayfield is soliciting Competitive Sealed Bids (CSB) from qualified contractors to provide labor, materials, and equipment for a chip seal project on town roads. The scope of work includes surface preparation, seal coating, and application of chip aggregate, chip fogging, completed in strict accordance with industry best practices and town specifications. The TOWN will select one (1) Supplier to provide equipment, materials and labor for the project as outlined in this request.
SCOPE OF WORK:
Mayfield Town is seeking to chip seal approximately 17,765 sq yds of specified town roads per following locations as noted: Canyon Road 400 East to 360 South, Park Road 100 North to Order Road, 870 North State Street to 100 West, 780 North State Street to 100 West, 100 West 780 North to 720 North, 720 North 100 West to 20 West including cul-de-sac. Including all adjoining intersection radius.
Additional items that may be out for bid that are not included in this scope of work are NOT considered part of this project, but rather may be noted for information purposes.
Mayfield Town requires suppliers to provide services that meet or exceeds all current state and federal standards.
The CSB shall include all costs associated with the proposed project.
