- SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION SALT LAKE CITY COUNCIL NOTICE OF HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON Tuesday, March 24, 2026, a public hearing will be held at 7:00 p.m. by the Salt Lake City Council to accept public comment and consider adopting an ordinance that would amend multiple sections of Title 20 Subdivisions and Title 21A Zoning of the Salt Lake City Code pertaining to the expiration of land use approvals. The proposal would expand the actions a land use applicant may take to prevent an approved land use application from expiring. The proposal helps clarify the actions a land use applicant may take to satisfy the requirement in Utah Code 10-20-902 for an applicant to implement the approval with reasonable diligence. Other sections of Title 20 and 21A may also be amended as part of this petition. Petition No.: PLNPCM2025-00554. All persons interested and present will be given an opportunity to be heard on this matter. This meeting will be held via electronic means, while also providing an in-person opportunity to attend or participate in the hearing at the City Hall, located at 451 South State Street, Room 315, Salt Lake City, Utah.
