1. Call to Order
Welcome, roll call, and confirmation of quorum.
2. Approval of February 5, 2026 Meeting Minutes (Action Item)
3. Follow-Up from February Meeting (Brief Update)
Bylaws were forwarded to the city attorney. Guiding Good Choices facilitator training update. Teen Mental Health & Prevention Night planning progress. Vineyard-specific local SHARP data analysis has not yet been released.
4. Budget Review (Discussion / Possible Action)
Review current fiscal year budget status and remaining funds. Discussion of priorities for the remainder of the fiscal year.
5. FY2026 Event Calendar Overview (Information Item)
Confirmed and planned events include the following:
April 1 - Teen Mental Health & Prevention Night
April 25 - National Drug Take Back Day Event (in coordination with Sheriff's office)
May (TBD) - Key Leader Dinner
May 15 - Local Sheriff's Office 'Day with a Deputy' Event (Host a table/game)
June 5 - Community Block Party (Vineyard Days)
6. Teen Mental Health & Prevention Night - April 1 (Discussion)
Final planning check-in including panel confirmation, event flow and activities, dessert and raffle or prize ideas, and any final recommendations from the board.
7. Future Programming Considerations (Discussion / Direction)
Discussion of potential initiatives for later this fiscal year or future planning, including a parent prevention education event, Film screening or speaker opportunities including the local Standout film, a new Screenagers series edition, and a Kratom documentary.
8. Key Leader Dinner (Discussion / Direction)
Tentative time frame April 29-30 or May 5-7. Cindy Walker identified last meeting as willing to be planning lead. Confirm preferred date range and begin
initial discussion of invite list and format.
9. Community Block Party - Vineyard Days (Discussion)
Tentative date June 5. Confirm Vineyard Cares participation, identify one to two planning leads, and discuss initial planning considerations.
10. Coalition Workgroups (Discussion)
Review and discussion of proposed coalition workgroups, including the purpose and potential scope of each group. Commission members will provide input on the structure, responsibilities, and timing for introducing workgroups to coalition members.

Presentation by Lt. Holden Rockwell, providing an overview of services, community programs, partnerships, and opportunities for collaboration.
4. 2026 Legislative Session Updates
Brief overview of recent state legislative updates related to tobacco, nicotine, kratom, and other substance policies affecting prevention efforts and community awareness.
5. Teen Mental Health & Prevention Night - April 1
Brief overview and volunteer coordination including event overview, panel discussion, activities and event format, volunteer opportunities, and promotion reminders.
6. Upcoming Community Events
Updates and volunteer opportunities related to National Drug Take Back Day on April 25, Day with a Deputy on May 15, and the Community Block Party on June 5.
7. Parent Prevention Education & Future Programming Discussion
Discussion of potential future initiatives including a parent prevention education event, workshops, screenings, or other future programming ideas.
