NOTICE AND AGENDA
Pursuant to 52-4-6(2), UCA, notice is hereby given that the Monroe Trails Committee of Monroe City, Sevier County, Utah, will hold a regular committee meeting on the above date at the City Office, 10 N Main, commencing at 4:15 p.m. The agenda shall be as follows: (The order of business may be changed as time permits.)
1. Welcome and Call to Order: Committee Chairperson
2. Roll Call
3. Approve 2026-2-12 Meeting Minutes
4. Public Input
5. Business
a. Review recent meetings and discussions with County (Mike)
1. Malcolm writing up agreement with County based on the following:
- Restroom to be located at south end of Foothill Trail
- Current trail alignment on county parcels is accepted based on KMZ
- Legal description for recorded easement will be completed after trail construction is finished
- Recorded easement will include language for trail alignment to be adjusted if required by development uses on county-owned parcels (subdivision, gravel pit operation, etc.)
b. Foothill Trail Updates (Prescott)
1. Construction started!
2. Discuss options for bridging ravines and water areas
3. Discuss plans for construction of Nature Park trail area (including bridges)
c. Joe Town Trail Updates (Jason)
1. A&D Jensen progress update and plan
2. Trail crew open positions update and plan
d. Get specs/quotes on adaptive bike (Rick)
e. Discuss option of using Nate Conder's state-funded trail crew (all)
1. Available to work between May-October, prefer late May-early June for our project, and typically dedicate only one week per project.
2. Need to notify Nate by end of March before his schedule fills up.
