NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD FOR CLEARFIELD CITY
Notice is hereby given that Clearfield City Corporation will hold a Public Hearing on March 24, 2026, at 7:00 pm to take public comment and begin a 30-day comment period regarding the following:
- The upcoming 2026-2027 Annual Action plan for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) programs for funding received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The Annual Action plan covers the one-year period from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.
o The City anticipates receiving approximately $200,000 in CDBG funding.
Public Service 15% of funding
Administration 20% of funding
Facility/park/neighborhood/public improvements or housing rehabilitation 65% of funding
- Amending the 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan/Annual Action Plan by reallocating $26,000 from prior year funding (FY 2019 & 2022) to the current facility improvement project.
- Amending the current Citizen Participation Plan (CPP).
Following the conclusion of the 30-day public comment period, a second Public Hearing will be May 12, 2026, at 7:00 pm. The Public Hearing will be held in the City Council Chambers at the Clearfield Municipal Building, located at 55 South State Street, Clearfield City, Utah.
Anyone interested in reviewing and/or commenting on the Annual Action Plan, Amendments, or the updating of the Citizen Participation Plan, may do so between March 25, 2026, to April 27, 2026, in Customer Service, at 55 South State Street, 1st Floor, Clearfield Utah, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. or contact Allison Barnes, CDBG Coordinator at (801)525-2772 or by TTY at 711 or 888-346-3162 for Spanish Relay Utah. Se notifica que la Corporación Municipal de Clearfield llevara una Audiencia Pública el 24 de Marzo de 2026 a las 7:00 PM para recibir comentarios del público e iniciar un período de 30 días para presentarles sobre lo siguiente:
- El próximo Plan de Acción Anual 2026-2027 para los programas de Subvenciones en Bloque para el Desarrollo Comunitario (CDBG) para la financiación recibida del Departamento de Vivienda y Desarrollo Urbano de los Estados Unidos (HUD). El Plan de Acción Anual abarca el período de un año comprendido entre el 1 de Julio de 2026 y el 30 de Junio de 2027.
- La Ciudad prevé recibir aproximadamente $200,000 en fondos CDBG.
- Servicios públicos: 15% de los fondos
- Administración: 20% de los fondos
- Mejoras de instalaciones/parque/barrio/públicas o rehabilitación de viviendas 65% de los fondos
- Modificar el Plan Consolidado/Plan de Acción Anual 2025-2029 reasignando $26,000 de la financiación de años anteriores (años fiscales 2019 y 2022) al proyecto actual de mejora de las instalaciones.
- Modificar el Plan de Participación Ciudadana (CPP) vigente.
Tras la conclusión del período de 30 días para comentarios públicos, se celebrará una segunda audiencia pública el 12 de Mayo de 2026 a las 7:00 PM. La audiencia se llevará a cabo en la Sala del Concejo Municipal, en el Edificio Municipal de la ciudad de Clearfield, ubicado en 55 South State Street, Clearfield City, Utah.
Cualquier persona interesada en revisar o comentar sobre el Plan de Acción Anual, las Enmiendas o la actualización del Plan de Participación Ciudadana puede hacerlo del 25 de Marzo al 27 de Abril de 2026 en el Centro de Atención al Cliente, ubicado en 55 South State Street, 1.er piso, Clearfield, Utah, de lunes a viernes, de 8:00 a. m. a 5:00 p. m., o comunicarse con Allison Barnes, Coordinadora del CDBG, al (801)525-2772 o por TTY al 711 o al 888-346-3162 para el servicio de retransmisión en español de Utah.
