Description/Agenda: JOB OPENING POLICE SERGEANT Kamas City has a full-time employment opportunity for the position of Police Sergeant. Under the direction of the Chief of Police, performs a variety of law enforcement duties related to enforcing laws, maintaining peace, and protecting citizens of the city. Engages in various community-oriented policing and public safety activities, processes, projects and programs. Patrols the city to interdict in any criminal activity, render aid, arrest or cite, and respond to medical needs. Salary $34.15 to $47.81 per hour depending on experience and qualifications, along with an excellent benefit package. This position requires 40 hours per week, POST Certification required.
