Announcement of Surplus Property Sale
Francis City Council has delegated authority to declare personal property items as surplus. The Mayor has declared certain items of personal property surplus and has authorized disposal by sealed bid.
From March 3rd, 2026, through March 19th, 2026, surplus assets will be sold via sealed bid.
In order to make a bid, bring your bid in, in a sealed envelope with your name, Surplus Property and if it is the building or the truck written on the sealed envelope. Items are sold 'as is, where is'. Please take time to review the terms and conditions before bidding. No bids will be accepted after 4:30 p.m. on March 25th, 2026.

A list of the available items is shown. Francis City reserves the right to remove any items from this list at any time.

Terms & Conditions
1. Francis City is asking for a minimum bid of $30,000.00 on the City building. The building will need to be completely removed from City property.
The City will allow a two-week grace period for the removal of the building from time of acceptance.
The building is sold 'as is' and there will be no warranty on the building at all.
Please place your bid based on the above conditions.
Payment needs to be made within 48 hours of winning bid and paid with a cashier's check before removal of the building.

2. The Mitsubishi Truck is not in running condition and being sold 'as is' NO warranty.
Place your bid based on the above conditions.
The City will allow for a two-week grace period for the removal of the truck from time of acceptance.
Payment needs to be made within 48 hours of winning bid and paid with a cashier's check before removal of vehicle.
