NOTICE AND AGENDA -AMENDED NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison City Council will hold a Work Meeting and Public Hearing along with its regularly scheduled City Council Meeting Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the Gunnison City Hall, 38 West Center, with the Work Meeting beginning at 6:00 p.m. and the Public Hearing and City Council Meeting at 7:00 p.m. Work Meeting 1) 6:00 p.m. Discuss Options and Make Selections for Crosswalk Materials and the Pedestrian Lights – Council, Steering Committee, Brady Pitcher Gunnison City Council Business 2) Invocation 3) 7:00 p.m. A Public Hearing to receive input with respect to the Issuance of Sales Tax Revenue Bonds and any potential impact to the private sector from the Construction of the Project 4) Overview of Main Street Revitalization Project – review progress, components of plan and current status 5) Review July 4th Celebration and Possible Approval of Performing Artist Contract 6) UDOT Update regarding proposed Highway89 upgrade – Troy Torgerson 7) Discussion and Possible Approval of Land Acquisition 8) 8:00 p.m. Discuss and Possible Approval of Road Side Improvements for Alex Jensen 308 South 200 East 9) Discuss Scrap Metal Offer for Old Water Line Along Highway 89 and Possible Approval 10) Discuss Foot Bridge Proposal and Possible Approval for the River Walk Crossing at 200 West– Council Member Blake Donaldson 11) Discuss and Possible Approval of Extension and Expansion of Gary Keddington’s duties for Gunnison City 12) Discuss and Possible Approval of cooperative purchase of Water Utility equipment, “Hot Tap” in conjunction with Centerfield City 13) Discuss and Possible Approval of Options for Legacy Plaza – Council Members Brian Jensen and Blake Donaldson 14) Proposed Approval City Council Meeting Minutes for Wednesday, February 22, Open and Closed Session 15) Future Items to be Listed on Agenda 16) Proposed Approval Bills and Adjustments 17) Closed Session 18) Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order. *In compliance with ADA, persons needing auxiliary communicative aids & accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, services, programs, etc. should call City Offices at (435)528-7969 giving at least 24 hours notice.
