MEADOW TOWN CORP. __________________________________________________ PO BOX 88 MEADOW, UT 84644 Pursuant to the Utah Open and Public Meetings Act, public notice is hereby given that Meadow Planning and Zoning will hold a Public Hearing on March 10th, 2026 at 7:00 pm the Meadow Town Firehouse. The agenda shall be as follows: 1. Opening Ceremonies (three-minute limit) 2. Revising Chapters 2,4, and 9 in the town ordinances. 3. Discuss Subdivision Ordinance. 4. Adjorn Haley Abplanalp Planning and Zoning Secretary The subdivision ordinance in review is available upon request by contacting; Planning & Zoning Secretary Haley Abplanalp at meadowtreasurer@gmail.com or Meadow Town Clerk Monica Dearden at 435-253-1155 or meadowtowncorp@gmail.com or Leave a message at the Meadow Town Office 435-842-2203 The Meadow Town subdivision ordinance is being updated to meet the requirements in SB 174. The changes to the ordinances are intended to: Protect and provide for the public health, safety and general welfare of the town. Guide the future growth and development of the town, in accordance with the general plan. Encourage the orderly and beneficial development of land within the municipality. Protect the integrity of buildings, land and improvements, and to minimize the conflicts among the uses of land and buildings. Provide a beneficial relationship between the uses of land, buildings, traffic circulation and the proper location and width of streets and building setbacks. Establish reasonable standards of design and procedures for subdivisions, condominium plats, plat amendments and lot line adjustments, in order to further the orderly layout and use of land; and to ensure proper legal descriptions and recording of subdivided land. Ensure that public facilities are available and will have a sufficient capacity to serve the proposed subdivision.
