Description/Agenda: Notice of Public Hearing Notice is hereby given of a public hearing before the La Verkin City Planning Commission on March 11, 2026, at 6 p.m. at 111 S. Main Street in La Verkin, Utah, for the purpose of receiving public comment regarding the approval of: 1. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF LAVERKIN, UTAH, AMENDING TITLE 10 CHAPTER 6B OF THE LAVERKIN CITY CODE TO REMOVE TWO-FAMILY DWELLINGS FROM THE LIST OF PERMITTED USES IN THE R-1-10 ZONE. Purpose and Summary of Ordinance No. _2026-00 Title 10 Chapter 6B of the LaVerkin City Code currently allows both single-family and two-family dwellings in the R-1-10 Zone. The purpose of Ordinance No. ________ is to remove two-family dwellings from the list of permitted uses in the R-1-10 Zone. A copy of the complete Ordinances are available for the public to review and copies at the La Verkin city office at 435 N. Main, La Verkin, Utah. The public are invited to attend. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this meeting should notify Nancy Cline, City Recorder, (435) 635-2581, at least 48 hours in advance.
