- Notice of Intent to Prepare a Comprehensive Amendment to the Utah County General Plan February 10, 2026 This notice is given pursuant to Utah Code Ann. 17 79 203 and is being sent to those entitled to such notice under Utah Code Ann. 17 79 203(1). PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Utah County intends during the 2026 calendar year to prepare comprehensive amendments to the Utah County General Plan. The proposed amendments are being made in compliance with Utah Code Ann. 17 79 401 through 407. The area affected by this comprehensive general plan amendment will only consider land, landscapes, environmental resources, uses, and management within the political boundaries of unincorporated Utah County. The public and each of the affected entities are invited and will have several opportunities to provide information for the County to consider in the process of preparing, adopting, and implementing the proposed plan amendments concerning: a) Impacts that the use of land covered by the plan amendments may have on such affected entity, and b) Uses of land within the County that such affected entity is considering that may conflict with the proposed general plan amendments. The intent of Utah County is to complete this amendment effort prior to December 31, 2026. Notices regarding future meetings/hearings on the matter will be provided consistent with state noticing requirements, including posting on the Utah Public Notice Website (https://www.utah.gov/pmn/).
