The Iron County Planning Commission and Iron County Commission will hold a public hearing and consider action at their regularly scheduled meetings:
Planning Commission (recommendation on the zone change):
Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 5:30 PM
Festival Hall (105 N 100 E (2nd floor), Cedar City, Utah).
County Commission meeting:
Monday, March 9, 2026 at 10:00 AM
Iron County Courthouse (68 S 100 E, Parowan, Utah).
The hearings are to receive public comment on an application for a zone change from Residential 5 acre (R-5) to Residential 1/2 acre (R-1/2) on approximately 73.6 acres - Generally located on the south side of Midvalley Road, near 2700 W, Cedar City, UT.
