Description/Agenda

Sanpete County has received a petition to consider the sale of certain real property held by the County. Pursuant to Sanpete County Resolution No. 08-18-2015A and applicable provisions of the Utah Code regarding the disposal of county property, Sanpete County hereby gives public notice of its intent to receive and consider sealed bids from interested parties for the purchase of the following described parcel: Parcel No. 10123 Legal Description: BEG NW COR SW 1/4 SE 1/4 SEC 22-19-1E, S 4.75 C, E 1.25 C, N 4.75 C, W 1.25 C TO BEG. A minimum bid of $402.42 is required to be considered for this property. Interested parties are invited to submit written, sealed bids as irrevocable offers to purchase the above-described parcel. Sanpete County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and is not obligated to accept the highest bid or to complete a sale of the property. The minimum bid amount is intended to recover amounts expended by the County on the property, including but not limited to back taxes, interest, penalties, administrative fees, and supervisory fees associated with prior tax sale or holding costs. Sealed bids must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on March 16, 2026. Bids shall be delivered to the Sanpete County Clerk's Office. The Sanpete County Commission will review and consider any bids received during its public meeting scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on March 17, 2026, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the Sanpete County Courthouse, Manti, Utah. Any sale of the property will be made without warranty or guarantee of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of title, possession, liens, encumbrances, taxes, or condition of the property. The property will be sold 'as-is, where-is,' together with all improvements, easements, appurtenances, and fixtures now or hereafter attached thereto.
