Description/Agenda
Tooele City, in partnership with the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), is proposing a project to construct a raised median along SR-36 (Main Street) from Skyline Drive to just south of 520 South (see map below). The proposed project would also include the installation of a new traffic signal at the Skyline Drive/Main Street intersection, just north of the raised median, along with crosswalks on the north and east legs of the intersection.
These improvements are being proposed as a measure to improve safety and access management at the intersection.
We are holding a Public Hearing to discuss the proposed project and take public comments. UDOT has completed a Draft State Environmental Study that will be available at the hearing for review. The Draft State Environmental Study will also be posted to the project website for review, as soon as it goes live.
