NOTICE OF ORDINANCE ADOPTION Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Lehi adopted the following Ordinances on January 27, 2026 #01-2026, approving the Cold Spring Ranch Area Plan Amendment to allow Short-Term Rentals. Summary: This ordinance amends the Cold Spring Ranch Area Plan to allow short-term rentals (STRs) as a permitted use within residential areas of Cold Spring Ranch. Previously, STRs were only permitted in commercial areas under the area plan. The amendment aligns the area plan more closely with Lehi City Code while maintaining additional area-specific regulations. All STRs must comply with City standards, including owner-occupancy as a primary residence, limits on guest numbers based on available off-street parking, and compatibility with the character of single-family neighborhoods. The amendment is intended, in part, to support housing affordability. #02-2026, approving a Development Code Amendment to Chapter 20, Home Occupations, adding Adult Daycare Summary: This ordinance amends Chapter 20 of the Lehi City Development Code to clarify that adult day care facilities are permitted as a home occupation. The amendment removes ambiguity in the current code and brings it into compliance with State law, which allows adult day cares as home occupations subject to specific standards, including minimum space requirements per participant. The clarification helps ensure adults who require care can receive services without regulatory uncertainty. #03-2026, adopting an Impact Fee Facilities Plan, an Impact Fee Analysis, and Amended Impact Fees for Transportation. Based on the impact fee facilities plan and an impact fee analysis, the City amended the amount of impact fees assessed for transportation.
