The Rich County Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing to receive
comments:
WHAT: Change to the short term rental renewal period and removal of enforcement
for advertising provisions.
WHEN: Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 7:00 pm
WHERE: Laketown City Office 10 N. 200 E., Laketown, Utah .
The Rich County Planning & Zoning Commission has reviewed the Development Code and found
it necessary to revise portions of this document. This public hearing is to receive comments on
those changes.
The commission proposes to adopt provisions that would change the dates of enrollment for short
term rental renewals and remove the language prohibiting enforcement for advertising.
Anyone wishing to comment at this hearing must keep those comments to five (5) minutes. Any
group of people with the same opinion wishing to comment should have one speaker representing
that group.
A complete copy of the provisions proposed for amendment are available for public review at the
following locations:
