NOTICE OF ANNEXATION PETITION Brigham City hereby gives notice that an annexation petition has been filed with the City Recorder requesting the annexation of 5.59 Acres (Parcel No. 03-074-0007) located at the approximately SR-13 and 2400 West. The Brigham City Council accepted the annexation petition on January 15, 2026. The complete annexation petition is available for inspection and copying at the office of the Brigham City Recorder, 20 North Main, during normal business hours. Brigham City may grant the petition and annex the area described in the petition unless a written protest to the annexation, in accordance with Utah Code 10-2-808(1)(a)), is filed with the Box Elder County Clerk at 1 South Main, Brigham City, Utah, and a copy of the protest delivered to the Brigham City Recorder at 20 North Main on or before February 27, 2026 . If no timely protest is received by the County Clerk and the Brigham City Recorder, the City Council will hold a public hearing for the purpose of considering public comment on the proposed annexation petition. Following the public hearing, the Council may adopt an ordinance for the annexation of the above-described property.
