NOTICE OF HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON Tuesday, March 10, 2026, a public hearing will be held at 7:00 p.m. by the Salt Lake City Council to accept public comment and consider adopting an ordinance that would temporarily close all or portions of City streets adjacent to the Salt Lake City Temple. The proposal would mitigate unsafe conditions, and facilitate public safety and crowd management during the Temple Reopening Celebration. The temporary street closures would occur between March 2027 and October 2027.
All persons interested and present will be given an opportunity to be heard on this matter. This meeting will be held via electronic means, while also providing an in-person opportunity to attend or participate in the hearing at the City Hall, located at 451 South State Street, Room 315, Salt Lake City, Utah.
