The Cedar City Council will hold a public hearing on Wednesday March 4, 2026, to consider adopting an ordinance updating the City's Impact Fee Facilities Plan and Impact Fee Analysis changing Cedar City's impact fees for the following categories: Transportation, Storm Drain, Wastewater treatment and collection, Parks and Recreation, Culinary Water, Police, and Fire. The public hearing will be held at Cedar City Council Chambers located at 10 North Main Street, and is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive input and consider adoption of an ordinance updating Cedar City's Impact Facilities Plan and Impact Fee Analysis. The ordinance may increase the impact fee charged by Cedar City in all of the categories listed above. Interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard. Written comments are welcome.
Copies of the Impact Fee Facilities Plan and Impact Fee Analysis are available for public review on Cedar City's website, https://www.cedarcityut.gov/DocumentCenter/View/18385/Cedar-City-IFFP_IFA-FEBRUARY-2026, or at the Cedar City Library located at 303 North 100 East.
