SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION SALT LAKE CITY COUNCIL NOTICE OF HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON Tuesday, February 17, 2026, a public hearing will be held at 7:00 p.m. by the Salt Lake City Council to accept public comment and consider adopting an ordinance that would amend sections 14.52 and 20.16.050 of the Salt Lake City Code to establish a consistent process for requests to close or vacate City-owned public streets or alleys. The proposal would also make the disposition process consistent in the context of a subdivision application and update the polices and standards that must be adhered to. Petition No.:PLNPCM2025-00423. All persons interested and present will be given an opportunity to be heard on this matter. This meeting will be held via electronic means, while also providing an in-person opportunity to attend or participate in the hearing at the City Hall, located at 451 South State Street, Room 315, Salt Lake City, Utah.
