PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE (Sewer Rate Increase)

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Grantsville City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of receiving public input regarding a proposed increase to sewer utility rates.
The proposed sewer rate increase is being considered in connection with the City's authorization of sewer revenue bonds to finance improvements to the City's wastewater treatment system, including costs associated with construction, related improvements, and long-term debt service obligations. The rate adjustment is intended to ensure sufficient revenues are available to operate and maintain the sewer system and to meet bond repayment requirements, as authorized by Resolution 2026-02.
Specific rate amounts are still under review and will be presented to the City Council prior to or at the public hearing.
This meeting will be held electronically via Zoom and in-person at Grantsville City Hall, located at 429 E. Main Street, Grantsville, Utah, 84029. Public comments are welcome and can be made in person or by dialing or logging into Zoom Conferencing using the following:

Public comments may also be sent via email to the City Recorder, Alicia Fairbourne at afairbourne@grantsvilleut.gov. All comments will be distributed to the City Council and entered into public record. Comments must be received prior 12:00 pm (noon) on the day of the meeting in order to be considered.
Copies of the proposed resolution and related materials are available for public review at the Grantsville City Offices during regular business hours and as part of the City Council meeting materials posted on the City's official website and the Utah Public Notice Website.
