PUBLIC NOTICE
The Town of Mantua hereby gives notice under Utah Code Section 11-36a-504 of a public hearing scheduled for February 19, 2026, at 6:30 PM, to discuss the potential adoption of an impact fee ordinance. The hearing will take place at the Mantua Town Hall, 409 North Main Street, Mantua, Utah, 84324.
The proposed impact fee is based on an impact fee analysis. The hearing aims to gather citizen input regarding the proposed impact fees for the culinary water system. If approved, these fees will be required for new connections to the Town of Mantua's culinary water system.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT AN IMPACT FEE ORDINANCE AND IMPACT FEE ANALYSES (IFA) RELATED TO CULINARY SERVICES AND SANITARY SEWER SERVICES
The Town of Mantua, located in Box Elder County, Utah, intends to adopt impact fee analyses (IFA) and enact impact fees related to Culinary Water Services and Sanitary Sewer Services. These actions will apply to developments within the town's current municipal boundaries and impact fee service areas. If approved, the impact fees will be required for new development within the Town of Mantua.
A Public Hearing will occur at 6:30 PM on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at the Mantua Town Hall, 409 North Main Street, Mantua, Utah, 84324.
In addition to attending the public hearing, interested persons may submit written comments regarding the proposed impact fee ordinance to Sherita Schaefer, Town Recorder, at the address above. Comments can also be sent via phone at (435) 723-7054 or email at sschaefer@mantuautah.gov. Submissions are due by February 18, 2026.
