Planning and Zoning Minutes
January 5, 2026, at 5:00 pm
The Panguitch Planning and Zoning meeting was held at the Panguitch City Office at 25 S 200 E. Those in attendance were City Manager Mat Houston, City Recorder Tyrissa Howell, Committee Chair Chad Veater, and committee members Jon Torgerson, Clint Albrecht, Jaynie Connor, Ashlee Milby, Clarence Herron, Garrett Wolfley, Ford Stewart, and Tracy Wright.
Others in attendance were Jim Kinsey and Truman Dutson.
Agenda
Clarence Herron moved, seconded by Clint Albrecht, to approve the agenda. The motion passed with all in favor.
Minutes
Jon Torgerson moved, seconded by Garrett Wolfley, to approve the minutes with corrections. The motion passed with all in favor.
Signage - Zions Bank
Clarance Herron moved, seconded by Ashlee Milby, to approve the signage for Zions Bank. The motion passed with all in favor.
Apartment Buildings - John P. Henrie and Truman Dutson
Truman Dutson discussed plans to build additional apartment buildings at 500 North and 100 East on 2.56 acres. They would like to build six additional 8plex buildings. They plan to build a block wall on the east side of the property.
The current code would restrict the property to one 8plex per acre. Truman was asked to return with a full plot plan that follows the current requirements, a parking circulation plan, and plans for the road on 100 East.
Jon Torgerson moved, seconded by Jaynie Connor, to table the application until more information is received. The motion passed with all in favor.
Adjournment
Clint Albrecht moved to adjourn at 5:31 pm.
