- MONA CITY PUBLIC NOTICE Mona City Council Vacancy Mona City hereby gives public notice that a vacancy has occurred on the Mona City Council. In accordance with Utah Code ยง20A 1 510, the City Council will appoint a qualified individual to fill the remainder of the term. Eligibility Requirements Applicants must: - Be a registered voter in Mona City - Be a resident of Mona City for at least 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the appointment - Meet all other legal qualifications for municipal office How to Apply Interested individuals must complete an application. Applications may be delivered to: Mona City Offices 20 West Center Street Mona, Utah 84645 Or emailed to: Alicia.hills@monautah.gov Deadline All application materials must be received no later than Wednesday February 11, 2026, at 3:00 pm. Appointment Meeting The Mona City Council will consider applicants and make an appointment during a public meeting on: Thursday, February 12, 2026 Applicants are encouraged to attend and may be asked to speak briefly.
