NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
(Proposed Adjustment of Municipal Boundary with Highland City)
Notice is hereby given that the Draper City Council will hold a public hearing in order to receive public comment as a part of their review of a municipal boundary adjustment with Highland City.
Application Name: Draper City - Highland City Common Boundary Adjustment
Location: See the attached Highland-Draper Annexation Plat
Size: Approximately 4.28 acres to Highland and approximately 58.46 acres to Draper
Request: The request is to adjust the common boundary between Draper City and Highland City in order to remove approximately 58.46 acres from Highland City and add it to Draper City as well as remove approximately 4.28 acres from Draper and add it to Highland.
Resolution: Draper City adopted Resolution No. 25-75 on December 16, 2025 indicating the City's intent to adjust the municipal boundary with Highland City.
If you have any relevant comments or concerns, the City Council will be taking public comment during their meeting on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. This meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. There are several ways to participate in this meeting:
1. Attend the meeting in person at Draper City Hall, located at 1020 East Pioneer Road, in the City Council Chambers.

3. Email your written comments to Mike Barker at mike.barker@draperuah.gov. Please submit written comments by noon on the day of the meeting.
The City Council will adjust the boundary unless, at or before the public hearing, written protest to the adjustment is filed by a title holder of state-owned real property within the proposed boundary adjustment or an owner of private real property that:
1. Is located within the area proposed for adjustment;
2. Covers at least 25% of the total private land area within the area proposed for adjustment, and
3. Is equal in value to at least 15% of the value of all private real property within the area proposed for adjustment.
