Public Notice INVITATION TO BID Tooele City 90 North Main Tooele City, Utah 84074 Notice is hereby given that TOOELE CITY CORPORATION (OWNER) will accept bids for the 2026 Roadway Maintenance Project consisting of approximately 185,000 square feet of Type II Slurry Seal, 2.4 million square feet of Light Weight Aggregate Chip Seal, and 85,000 square feet of Roadway mill and overlay and related appurtenances. Separate sealed bids will be received by the OWNER in Room 227, of the Tooele City Municipal Offices located at 90 North Main, Tooele, Utah 84074 until 11:00 AM on Wednesday February 18, 2026, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Project Specifications will be issued in digital format (PDF), and may be obtained by contacting Tooele City Public Works, 90 North Main, Tooele, Utah 84074 beginning on Tuesday January 27, 2026 office hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. by calling (435) 843-2130, or by email addressed to laurab@tooelecity.gov. All Bidders must register with the City in order to be considered for Award of Bid. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the base bid will be required to accompany bids. Prospective BIDDERS are encouraged to attend a pre-bid conference which will be held in upstairs Large Conference Room (Room 213), of the Tooele City Municipal Offices located at 90 North Main, Tooele, Utah at 10:00 AM on Wednesday February 11, 2026. The object of the conference is to acquaint BIDDERs with the site conditions, specifications and to answer any questions which BIDDERs may have concerning the project.
