New Boiler Furnishing and Installation

PROJECT OVERVIEW
Centerville City ('City') is seeking formal bids from qualified contractors to replace the existing rear boiler at Centerville City Hall, with an alternative bid to replace both boilers. Boiler(s) will be like for like (Lochinvar Knight KBN 500). Bids shall include all labor and materials for installing the new boiler(s), including, but not limited to all flue and air intake piping/ductwork, water connections, gas connections, electrical/control connections. Boilers must be compatible with I-Vu BMS system. Control configuration by others.
Contractors must hold an active S350 license to bid on this project. This project is to be awarded to lowest qualified bidder based on the 'Total Base Bid'.
CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES
The contractor shall:
- Remove existing boiler(s), including associated flue and air intake piping/ductwork, water connections, gas connections, and electrical/control connections, as required.
- Install Lochinvar Knight KBN 500 boiler(s)
- Replace all necessary flue and air intake piping/ductwork, water connections, gas connections, and electrical/control connections, as required.
- Reuse building pumps.
- Maintain safe work practices and protect existing facilities during construction.
- Provide a detailed work schedule and coordinate with Facilities Manager, Cameron Woodbury, prior to mobilization.
- Contractor shall be present at system startup for verification and commissioning.
PROJECT SCHEDULE
- The project will be scheduled to begin in April 2026 to minimize cold weather risks.
- All work must be performed during normal operating hours 8:00AM - 5:00PM unless otherwise approved in writing.
Contractors must provide a proposed schedule with their bid, including anticipated lead times for equipment and materials.
WARRANTY & COMMISSIONIONING
Standard one-year warranty on all labor and materials.
Full commissioning of the new boiler(s)
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at Centerville City Hall (250 N. Main St. Centerville, UT 84014) on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 2:00 PM.
Deadline for submitting questions is Monday, February 9, 2026 at 12:00 PM. All questions should be submitted to Cameron Woodbury at Cameron.woodbury@centervilleutah.gov or (801) 292-8232.
Bids will be received by Centerville City at the Centerville City Hall, 250 N Main St, Centerville, Utah 84014, until Thursday, February 11, 2026 at 2:00 PM; and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
Any Addendums for this will be posted in the Utah Public Notice Website (UPNW). Offerors shall acknowledge Addendum(s) in their proposal response. Please check UPNW frequently for updates.
