SECTION 00 1113 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS JORDAN BASIN IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT BLUFFDALE, UT JBWRF IMPROVEMENTS GENERAL NOTICE JORDAN BASIN IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: JBWRF IMPROVEMENTS 060-23-02 Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Jordan Basin Improvement District (the 'District') located at 1253 West Jordan Basin Lane, Bluffdale, Utah, or by submitting sealed bids electronically using Utah Public Procurement Place (Bonfire) website until Monday, March 02, 2026 at 2:00 pm local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following Work: Installation of additional wastewater equipment, including a coarse screen, fine screen, centrifuge and appurtenant equipment and upgrades to the existing wastewater reclamation facility, in accordance with the Contract Documents. The Contract Documents are described in Article 6 of the Agreement (Section 00 52 13 of the Project Manual). The Bidding Documents are comprised of each of the proposed Contract Documents and include the following Bidding Requirements: this Advertisement for Bids (Section 00 11 13 of the Project Manual); Instructions to Bidders (Section 00 21 13 of the Project Manual); Information Required of Bidder (form, Section 00 26 00 of the Project Manual); Bid Form (Section 00 41 00 of the Project Manual); Bid Bond (form, Section 00 43 13 of the Project Manual), E-Verify Agreement and Affidavit (form, Section 00 45 30 of the project Manual) and all Addenda issued prior to the receipt of Bids. Bids will be received for the following Contract: JBWRF IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT. OBTAINING BIDDING DOCUMENTS The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Bowen, Collins & Associates 154 E 14075 S Draper, UT 84020 Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. An electronic copy of the Bidding Documents may be obtained through Utah Public Procurement Place website. PRE-BID CONFERENCE A mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Monday, February 09, 2026 at 2:00pm at Jordan Basin Water Reclamation Facility, Administration Building Board Room, 13826 South Jordan Basin Lane, Riverton City, Utah 84065. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference. INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS Bids (on the Bid form and Bid Schedule form) must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in conformance with the Instructions to Bidders and in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bidder's Bid naming the District as Obligee. Bids must also be accompanied by a completed Information Required of Bidder and any other documents and information which may be required by the Instructions to Bidders to be submitted with the Bid. Bids shall be in conformance with the Instructions to Bidders and all other Bidding Documents. Bids shall be guaranteed by the Bidder for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of Bid opening. During this sixty (60) day period of time from the date of Bid opening, Bids may not be modified, withdrawn or cancelled by the Bidder (except for the very limited situations stated in the Instructions to Bidder). The District hereby reserves the right to cancel this Invitation to Bid at any time prior to Bid opening, to reject any or all Bids, to waive any irregularity or informality in a Bid not involving price, time or changes in the Work or the bidding procedures, and to make award or to refuse to make award in the best interest of the District. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
