PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Weber County, Utah will hold a regular commission meeting in the Commission Chambers at 2380 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah, on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, commencing at 10:00 a.m. The agenda for the meeting consists of the following: A. Welcome- Commissioner Froerer B. Pledge of Allegiance- C. Invocation/Moment of Silence- Jim Retallick D. Commissioner Comments- E. Agenda Related Public Comments- (Comments will be taken for items listed on the agenda- please limit comments to 3 minutes) F. Presentation- Presentation to honor a county employee. Presenter: Commissioners G. Consent Items- 1. Request for approval of purchase orders in the amount of $1,379,505.21. 2. Request for approval of warrants #107060-107105 and #494962-495023 in the amount of $853,658.00. 3. Summary of warrants and purchase orders. 4. Request for approval of minutes for the January 20, 2026 meeting. 5. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and the State of Utah Health & Human Services to provide transportation services to clients referred by the DHHS back from other states, or assistance with transportation for security/high-risk clients referred by DHHS. 6. Request for approval of a Right of Way Purchase Agreement by and between Weber County and Emmanuel DeMzee & Aimee Kagabo for property along 2550 South, Parcel 131. 7. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and the Utah Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Medical Examiner specifying the responsibilities of the Weber County Emergency Management Division and the Office of the Medical Examiners' in regard to storage, maintenance and deployment. H. Action- 1. Request for approval of a resolution of the County Commissioners of Weber County acknowledging an appointment to the Ogden Valley Park Service Area. Presenter: Stacy Skeen 2. Request for approval of a resolution of the County Commissioners of Weber County appointing a Trustee to the Board of the Water Conservancy District. Presenter: Stacy Skeen 3. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and TrendiEats LLC to hold the 805 Night Markets Food Festival at the Golden Spike Event Center. Presenter: Duncan Olsen 4. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Fuel Marketing to handle paid marketing negotiations for the 2026 Weber County Fair. Presenter: Ashton Wilson 5. Request from the Public Defender's Office for approval of contracts by and between the following individuals for representation of indigent persons in the Second District Court: Colton McKay Carl Anderson Michael Bouwhuis Presenter: Jim Retallick 6. Request from the Public Defender's Office for approval of contracts by and between Weber County and Rich Williams for representation of indigent persons in the Second District Juvenile Court. Request for a motion to adjourn public meeting and convene public hearing. 2. Public hearing to take input on the compensation increases of certain executive county officers included in the 2026 Operating and Capital Budgets. Presenter: Steffani Ebert 3. Public Comments- (please limit comments to 3 minutes) 4. Request for a motion to adjourn public hearing and reconvene public meeting. 5. Action on public hearing- J.
