Notice of Board of Trustees Vacancy
Pursuant to Utah Code Ann 20A-1-512, Hooper Water Improvement District will appoint a new trustee to a vacant seat on its Board of Trustees. The Vacancy will be filled at the district office at 6:00 p.m. on February 10, 2026.
Any District customer who wants to run for one of these positions must submit their name for consideration by filing a Declaration of Candidacy at the District office between January 20, 2026 and February 9, 2026. The office will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All candidates must meet the following requirements (Utah Code: 17B-1-302):
U.S. Citizen at time of filing
Registered voter at the location of the member's residence in the district
Be a resident in the boundaries of the special district for the previous year
