- Sponsored the Northern Utah STEM Expo with community partner Marathon Petroleum
- Facilitated the partnership and voting efforts for Northridge High School SPED teacher Angelyn
Obray to win a $50,000 classroom makeover from classroom
design and furniture company KI
- Partnered with Mercedes-Benz of Farmington and Svi Mykhailiuk of the Utah Jazz who made a
donation and delivery of 300 hams to students in need
- Opened Junior High Child Spree event to assist secondary students with holiday needs
- 46 innovative grants totaling $155,759 awarded to educators (F/T Teachers or Counselors) and 16
grants totaling $134,128 awarded to administrators
DECEMBER
- Participated in the 'Light the World' Giving Machines kickoff at the Ogden
Christmas Village as a featured charitable recipient
- Hosted Davis School District leadership employees in a service project with The Salvation Army
who serves hundreds of K-6 Davis School District families at Christmas each year
- Completed seven 'Elves and the Shoemaker' events where kindergarten students at Title I
elementary schools receive new shoes courtesy of generous community partners. Many thanks to
America First Credit Union, Granite Credit Union and Mountain America Credit Union
- Hosted the Davis Education Foundation Board of Directors for a holiday party
at the Centerville Megaplex
- Received $10K in cash and toys for holiday giving from Big West Oil and the Call
Foundation
- Distributed $10K in holiday hardship grants to teachers courtesy of Hogan & Associates
Construction
- Received $100K worth of new books from Deseret Book
- Served 551 students during Jr. High Spree with donations from our generous community
- Received KSL Quarters for Christmas donation of $11K
- Received Larry H. and Gail Miller Family Foundation donation of $25K for Sub for Santa
- Received 746 stockings and $16,415 in food gift cards for at-risk students -
all from community donations
- Received $5K from Boeing from their employee holiday drive
