Elwood Town Council Meeting November 10, 2025 The Elwood Town Council met at the Elwood Town Hall, 5235 West 8800 North, Elwood, Utah, at 7:00, Nov 10, 2025. The following members were present consisting of a quorum. Keenan Nelson Mayor Scott Goodliffe Councilmember Mark Lay Councilmember Lynn Hardy Councilmember Mike Pace Councilmember Staff present at this meeting Gina Marble Town Clerk Steve Woerner Public Works Others present at this meeting Brian Davis Phil Shimek Bill Morris Chris Crockett WELCOME ADMINISTRATION The meeting was called to order and opened with the Pledge, and an invocation was offered. Mayor Nelson welcomed everyone to the meeting. Administration Council members reviewed the minutes from the September 9 and October 14, 2025, Town Council meetings. Council Member Pace moved to accept the minutes for September 9 and October 14, 2025. Council Member Hardy seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. Item#1Action Item- Elwood Town Canvass Election-Town Clerk Gina Marble clarified that the town canvass election agenda item would not be addressed at this meeting, as it had been rescheduled for Wednesday. Council Member Hardy moved to close the public meeting. Council Member Goodliffe seconded. The motion carried unanimously. The regular town council meeting was temporarily closed, and members of the public were asked to step out. Council Member Hardy moved to open an executive session. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Lay and carried unanimously. Council Member Hardy moved to close the executive session. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Goodliffe and carried unanimously. Council Member Pace moved to reopen the public meeting. Council Member Goodliffe seconded. The motion carried unanimously. Following the executive session, Mayor Nelson welcomed the incoming council members in attendance and announced that the Christmas dinner would be held on December 17, 2025, at 6:00 PM. Councilmember Pace made a motion to adjourn. Councilmember Goodliffe seconded the motion, and the remaining council members agreed.
