In accordance with Utah Code 10-3-711, the Millcreek City Council adopted the following ordinances on January 12, 2026:
Ordinance 26-01, Vacating and Removing the 'Planned Unit Development (P.U.D.)' and 'Open Space' Designations; and Further Vacating and Removing Lots 1, 2, and 10 from 'The Woods at Rosecrest P.U.D. Subdivision.' The ordinance amends an existing subdivision to better conform with recent legislative changes.
Ordinance 26-02, Adding a Water Preservation Element to the General Plan Pursuant to Utah Code Ann. § 10-20-401 and § 10-20-404. The ordinance amends the General Plan due to requirements in state code.
Ordinance 26-03, Repealing Chapter 2.56 of the Millcreek Code of Ordinances Regarding Community Districts and Community Councils. The ordinance removes codified recognition of the community councils to comply with an informal opinion issued from the Office of the Property Rights Ombudsman.
Ordinance 26-04, Prohibiting the Removal of Snow and Ice from Municipal Pickleball Courts. The ordinance provides an enforcement mechanism to protect and prevent shoveling on pickleball courts.
Ordinance 26-05, Amending Chapter 5.19 of the Millcreek Code of Ordinances with Respect to Short-Term Rentals. The ordinance limits documents used as proof of owner occupancy for short-term rental license applications and other updates to code.
