- Planning Commission Vacancy Notice Coalville City is currently accepting letters of interest for a vacancy on the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission plays an important role in advising the City Council on matters related to land use, development, and long-range planning within the community. Participation requires regular attendance at meetings held at 6:00 p.m. on the third Monday of each month. Members of the Planning Commission shall be residents of Coalville City and have resided within the City of at least ninety (90) days prior to being appointed. Residents who are interested in serving are encouraged to submit a letter of interest outlining their qualifications, experience, and desire to serve the community. Letters of interest must be received no later than January 22, 2026. Please submit your letter of interest to: Coalville City Hall 10 North Main Street, PO Box 188, Coalville, UT 84017 or email to raeshel.hortin@coalvillecity.gov Applications will be reviewed and considered by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council. We appreciate the willingness of our residents to serve.
