Call the meeting to order: Welcome introductions for new individuals as necessary: Meeting breakdown and courtesy reminders: These are recorded public meetings. Follow the Agenda. Be respectful of everyone's time, keep side conversations and chit chatt to a minimum, or until after the meeting has concluded. Do not interrupt others while they are speaking. Approval of Meeting Minutes: 1.8.26 Board Member Report: Angie (Arena Director) - - Nicollee (Entertainment and Volunteers) - - Assign activities and events to a lead person - Flyers and sign-up process for vendors, volunteers, sponsors, exhibits, etc. - Generic advertising ideas: Grand County Fair every 4th of July/ Independence Day Weekend - Feb 11 UAFE Rachel (Marketing) - Neil (unassigned) - Melissa (Vendors) - Greg (Security/Risk Management) - Trisha (Commissioner) - Isobel (4-H/USU) - - Utah 4-H Fairbook 2026 Release - Fair entry judge sheets - Ribbons and premiums - Exhibit room availability - Who is running open class? - 4-H Booth Location - Just 4-H or 4-H & youth entries? Youth Classifications Review old business: Disclosures, ethics pledge and OPMA - was due Jan 31st. Complete paperwork and turn into Mackenzie asap. America 250 - - Walk 250 Touch Base on Easter Jeep Safari 2026 - Touch Base with the Museum to finalize details of free admission Need to collect items for gift basket to take to UAFE. Keep recruiting for new board members. There is 1 seat open. Complete your ethics, disclosures and OPMA - New business: o Re-do Sponsorship Packages o Exhibits - we are starting to receive inquiries about categories and registration. o Voting board seats - 4-H/USU and Risk Management. Isabel holds the 4-H/USU board seat and Greg has the Risk Management seat as appointed by the board. Both positions are voting positions. Mackenzie makes a recommendation that both board seats become none voting and the Risk Management is automatically assigned to the arena assistant director until further growth dictates otherwise, similar to how the budget/finance position is held by the arena director.
