Central Davis Sewer District
Wastewater Pump Supplier Proposal
General Description:
Central Davis Sewer District is requesting proposals for parties interested in providing 3 pumps for a relocated pump station that complies with the following general conditions:
- The pump is a submersible, single-stage, close-coupled motor-pump unit
- The pump shall have a closed loop cooling system with a stainless-steel cooling jacket.
- It can be installed vertically or horizontally and operates in a dry pit with suction from a
wet well.
- The casing/housing - typically cast iron or other industrial-grade material
- The pump should use a radial multi-vane, open-design impeller, that provides a large free
passage and resists plugging from rags, wipes, or other viscous materials.
- The impeller should be constructed of a hardened material that resists abrasion.
- The pump should meet the following two operating points
o 1200 gpm at 100 feet of head
o 710 gpm at 130 feet of head
- Suction flange size shall be 10 inches
- Mechanical seals.
- The pump shall be a KSB D-max 100-403 or equal.
The proposal shall include pump design information and materials of construction.
Proposal Rating:
All proposals will be rated by the District based on the following criteria:
1. Ability to resist ragging and plugging- 50%
2. Experience in wastewater and familiarity by District personnel- 30%
3. Equipment Cost- 20%
The District reserves the right to accept or reject all proposals, or separable portions thereof, and to waive any minor irregularity, technicality, or omission if the District determines that doing so shall serve the District's best interests. The District may reject any proposal not submitted in the manner specified by the solicitation documents.

Proposals must be received by January 20, 2026, at 10 am.
