Cleveland Town Council Meeting January 8, 2026 at 7:00 pm 130 West Main, Cleveland, UT 84518 Call to Order: Opening Flag Ceremony Minutes: Approve November Council Minutes Public Comment: This section is Limited to 10 minutes TOTAL. This time has been set aside for any person to express ideas, concern, comments, questions, or issues that are not on the agenda. Each Person Is Limited To 3 Minutes! *PLEASE STATE YOUR NAME AND PLACE OF RESIDENCE. *PLEASE LIMIT YOUR COMMENTS TO THREE MINUTES. State Law prohibits the council from acting on items that do not appear on the agenda. In this form of government, all town administrative personnel are under the direction of the mayor, not the council. Please discuss any concerns you may have regarding administrative staff with the mayor. Action Agenda: 1. Swear in elected officials, mayor and 2 council. 2. Council members need to complete a Conflict of Interest form and training on OPMA (Open Public Meetings Act) by Jan 31, 2026. 3. Discuss/Approve/Deny Forbidden Fruit rental lease for 2026. 4. Discuss/Approve/Deny adopt Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) Code in House Bill 48 into the Town's Ordinances. 4. Discuss/Approve/Deny Rayne Jensen would like to speak about the noncompliance issue located at 90 N Highway 155, Cleveland. 5. Discuss/Approve/Deny Cemetery Policy changes. 6. Discuss/Approve/Deny Set dates for Cleveland Days planning meetings, Easter Egg Hunt, HWY 155 W cleanup, , Town Tree Lighting Ceremony, Christmas Party. 7. Discuss/Approve/ Deny letters for non-compliance and updates with ongoing compliance issues. 8. Discuss/Approve/Deny bills and city financials for payment. 9. Council Reports. 10. Adjourn Meeting. If there is any portion of the meeting that is closed to the public, the reason must clearly be stated and a roll call vote taken. The next regular Council Meeting will be held on February 12, 2026 at 7:00 pm at the Cleveland Town Office, 130 W. Main, Cleveland, unless otherwise noticed.
