Public Notice: Proposal to adopt an updated
Mapleton City Transportation Master Plan
Mapleton City's Public Works department has contracted with the firm Wall Consultant Group to develop an update to the Mapleton City Transportation Master Plan (TMP). The proposed TMP updates the City's 2010 TMP and 2021 update to the Street Functional Classification Map. The TMP guides transportation infrastructure investments, and addressed City transportation management-related best practices, such as access management standards, safety analyses, and traffic calming.
The final draft of the updated TMP can be reviewed on Mapleton's website under Departments > Public Works > Streets > Transportation Master Plan: https://mapleton.org/departments/public_works/streets/transportation_master_plan.php
The proposed TMP update will be presented for Council approval at the Mapleton City Council Meeting on January 21, 2026 @ 6:00 pm. The meeting will include a public hearing on the proposed Plan adoption. City Council Meetings are held in the Mapleton City Council Chambers (125 West 400 North).
