The North Logan City Planning Commission will hold a regular meeting on Thursday, January 8, 2025 in the City Council Chambers at the North Logan City offices, 2525 North 600 East, North Logan, Utah beginning at 6:30 p.m. Following the regular meeting, the Planning Commission and City Council will then hold a joint work session in the main conference room adjacent to the council chambers. 1. CUP-2025-05 (Dye STR CUP) - Review and action regarding a request for a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to operate a Short-Term Rental (STR) within a Single Family Dwelling located at 2376 N 150 E.
Adjourn to Planning Commission and City Council Joint Work Session
This joint work session will be held in the main conference room adjacent to the Council Chambers. This joint work session is open for public attendance, but is not open for public comment. No action will be taken by either body.
2. Joint Work Session - Proactive vs. Reactive Zoning. The Commission and Council will review the recently adopted 2025 General Plan, City Center Master Plan, and corresponding land use code updates. Following review, the bodies will discuss the merits of both proactive and reactive approaches to rezoning of various districts throughout the city.
