NOTICE OF OGDEN VALLEY COUNCIL MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Ogden Valley City Council of Ogden Valley City will hold a City Council Meeting, January 6, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Location: Huntsville Town Hall, 7474 E 200 S, Huntsville, UT
1. Call to Order
a. Pledge of Allegiance
b. Moment of Silence
2. Consent Agenda
a. Approval and ratification of three Interlocal Agreements: Special Events Interlocal Agreement; Interlocal for Inspection Services; and Interlocal Agreement for Planning
b. Approval and ratification of the following contracts: JUB Contract for engineering and planning: Waste Management for trash collection.
3. Public Comment (at the discretion of the Mayor). All public comment shall: 1) only be made by those after the person states his or her name and address for the record; 2) may last no longer than 2 minutes unless otherwise allowed by the Mayor; 3) must be germane to the authority of the City Council and be directly related to city programs, projects, services or events; and 4) may not address an item already on the agenda.
4. Resolution 2026-07: Adoption of Temporary/Tentative Budget under Utah Code ยง 10-6-110. (Approximately 20 minutes). Discuss and possibly deny, continue, or adopt Resolution 2026-04 adopting a Temporary/Tentative Budget.
5. Ordinance 2026-04: Consideration of the imposition of a Transient Room Tax. (Approximately 10 minutes). Discuss and possibly deny, continue, or adopt Ordinance 2026-04 approving the imposition of a Transient Room Tax.
6. Ordinance 2026-03: Consideration of Ordinance Approving the Imposition of an Energy Use (Approximately 20 minutes). Discuss and possibly deny, continue, or adopt Ordinance 2026-03 approving the Imposition of an Energy Use.
7. Closed Meeting (As needed)
A closed meeting for any purpose as allowed in UCA 52-4-25.
