TOWN OF STOCKTON 18 North Johnson Street P.O. Box 240 Stockton, Utah 84071 Phone: (435) 882-3877 Notice is given that the Stockton Town Council will hold a regular meeting as identified below in the Town Council Chambers at the Stockton Town Hall 18 N. Johnson Street, Stockton, Utah. In compliance with the American Disabilities Act, any individual who may need special accommodations including auxiliary communicative and services during this meeting shall notify the Town Clerk at (435) 882-3877 at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. The order of Agenda Items may be changed if deemed appropriate by the Mayor or Town Council. Time limits, if any listed for Agenda items are approximate and may be accelerated or delayed. Public Comments- No Public Comments 4. Close Public Comments 5. Consent Agenda a. Check Register b. Bills over $1,000.00 c. Approval of September 2025 meeting minutes Motion Joe 2nd Emily ALL APPRO VED 6. Department Reports: a. Sheriffs Report -15 calls for service 3 arrests 16 citations b. Stockton Fire Dept- including contract with Tooele County for their Emergency Alert System- 13 runs this month , fire restrictions were lifted. Burn permit applications open. c. Planning and Zoning Report-none d. Mayors Report- including Tax rate hike not going through. e. Recreation f. Roads and Grounds g. Solid Waste h. Water i. Sewer 7. Beckie Boekweg, Bucky Whitehouse, Automatic Aid Agreement, gather needed signatures- County presents agreement check yearly payment. $65,285.47 Renew contract with Town. 8. Habitat for Humanity (assisting residents) Kristina Nelson-Project at the end of the month. Rural Rally, Assisting a few residents. 8. 1st quarter budget review/ Resolution 2025-17 amended budget- Amendment tabled till next month. 9. Tooele County Safety Action Plan Steering Committee Discussion-Emily will be on the committee 10. Resolution 2025-16 Cancelling Municipal Election 2025-Motion Joe 2nd Emily ALL APPROVED 11. Close Public Meeting 12. Motion to move into executive session if needed Executive session: Pursuant to one or more provisions of the Open and Public Meetings Act: a. Discussion of character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; b. Strategy session to discuss collective bargaining; c. Strategy session to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation; d. Strategy session to discuss the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property including water rights or water shares; e. Strategy session to discuss the sale of real property, including water rights or shares; f. Discussion regarding deployment of security personnel, devises, or systems; g. investigative proceedings regarding allegations of criminal misconduct; and/or h. Discussion of protected procurement issues, including protected trade secrets. 13. Reconvene from executive session-Announcement of purpose (s) of closed meeting 14. Council Report- 15.
