Notice is given that the Stockton Town Council will hold a regular meeting as identified below in the Town Council Chambers at the Stockton Town Hall 18 N. Johnson Street, Stockton, Utah. In compliance with the American Disabilities Act, any individual who may need special accommodations including auxiliary communicative and services during this meeting shall notify the Town Clerk at (435) 882-3877 at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. The order of Agenda Items may be changed if deemed appropriate by the Mayor or Town Council. Time limits, if any listed for Agenda items are approximate and may be accelerated or delayed.

Welcome and Comments by Mayor Johnston
Rules of Engagement - As of this council meeting the way we conduct ourselves and do business during the meeting will be driven from 'Roberts Rules of Order'. Although we are not experts in this method of meeting organization. We should try to maintain order when conducting meetings by limiting unnecessary conversation so we can efficiently get our business done. Council meetings should be limited to one hour and by applying rules of engagement we can manage this effectively.
Mayor Pro Tempore Appointment - Each calendar year the mayor shall appoint a member of the Stockton Town Council to act as mayor pro tempore during the temporary absence or disability of the mayor. The mayor's annual appointment of the mayor pro tempore shall be subject to the advice and consent of the Stockton Town Council. During such absence or disability, the mayor pro tempore shall possess the powers of mayor, except that the mayor pro tempore shall continue to cast votes as a member of the town council. The appointment and approval of a mayor pro tempore shall be entered in the minutes of the meeting. In the absence of both the mayor and the mayor pro tempore, when necessary, the Stockton Town Council may elect one of its members to serve as the mayor pro tempore until either the mayor or the appointed mayor pro tempore returns.
'Stockton Town Hall Business Hours' - The Business Hours of the Stockton Town Hall will be Monday thru Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Stockton Town Hall will be closed on all Federal Holidays, and Pioneer Day if the holiday falls between Monday through Thursday. We will continue to serve our residents and those doing business with the Town Hall by being OPEN during lunch for your convenience.
'Stockton Town Council Member Absence at Town Council Meeting' - Pertaining to all members of the Stockton Town Council, including the mayor, if a member finds they cannot attend a council meeting they must do one of the following. If you know well in advance that you cannot attend a council meeting you must contact the mayor by e-mail, text, or phone call and advise him of your absence. If a last-minute obligation prevents you from attending a council meeting, please contact the mayor or the Town Clerk as soon as possible. In any case the mayor requests that all members of the council in good standing make every effort to attend all council meetings.

Public Comments - This time is reserved for the residents of the Town of Stockton, and those who wish to comment on concerns of the town. Up to 5 minutes are provided to voice your concerns or make comments. Everyone will be given a Complaint/Suggestion form to submit their concern officially. The form will be documented and entered in a ledger with the date and time it was received. The town will not be able to act upon hearsay or verbal accusations if proper documentation was not entered into the official ledger for action. The Complaint/Suggestion ledger will be a public document which can be viewed by Town of Stockton Residents or those who have made complaints or suggestions during regular business hours of the Stockton Town Hall.
