Notice is hereby given this 5th day of January, 2026, pursuant to Utah Code Section 17B-1-304 of the Utah Code, that a vacancy exists on the Washington County Solid Waste District Board for a representative from Ivins City. To qualify for consideration for the above-mentioned Board vacancy, individuals must be a resident of Ivins City, a registered voter in Ivins City, and may (or may not be) an officer/employee of Ivins City. Those individuals interested in being considered for the vacant Board position outlined above should send a letter expressing their interest, together with a brief description of their qualifications and eligibility for the Board position, to: Kari D. Jimenez, Ivins City Recorder, 85 N Main, Ivins, Utah, 84738 or via email to kjimenez@ivinsutah.gov All letters of interest must be received by the City Recorder on or before 5:00 p.m. on January 29, 2026. The Ivins City Council will review and evaluate all individuals that qualify for consideration pursuant to the guidelines listed above and, following a Public Hearing on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at the regular Ivins City Council meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m. and located at 85 North Main St., Ivins, Utah, the Ivins Council will appoint an individual to fill the existing one (1) Board vacancy by Resolution.
