NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING January 15th, 2026, 6:30 PM The Murray City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the Murray City Municipal Council Chambers, located at 10 East 4800 South, Murray, UT to receive public comment on the following land use text amendments: - Amendment to Chapter 17.56: Conditional Uses and Zones, which cleans up sections of the chapter and implement staff approval of Conditional Uses in certain instances like relocations or expansions of conditional uses. - Amendment to Chapter 17.32: Residential Facilities for Elderly Persons, which removes reporting requirements. - Amendment to Section 17.04.140: Notices, which clarifies the process for public notification. - Amendment to Chapter 17.68: Landscaping Requirements, which clarifies the application requirements pertaining to use or site changes. To make comments regarding these proposed changes, the public may speak at the meeting, call the Murray City Planning Division at (801) 270-2430, or email pc@murray.utah.gov. The meeting will be streamed online, at www.murraycitylive.com or www.facebook.com/MurrayCityUtah/.

Unless otherwise noticed, meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month in the council chambers. The commission meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.. The staff meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. in the council conference room.
