NOTICE OF MIDTERM VACANCY
IN THE OFFICE OF CITY COUNCIL MEMBER
OF EAGLE MOUNTAIN CITY, UTAH
The City Council of Eagle Mountain City, Utah, will convene a special meeting on January 15, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. at the Eagle Mountain City Hall, 1650 E. Stagecoach Run, Eagle Mountain, Utah, to consider candidates for the vacant office of a member of the Eagle Mountain City Council and to appoint a person to the office of City Council Member to serve the unexpired term of office ending December 31, 2027, created by the resignation of Council Member Jared Gray.
Interested applicants must be registered voters in Eagle Mountain City, meet all qualifications for office, have been a resident of Eagle Mountain City for not less than 365 consecutive days prior to appointment and must be prepared to execute a statement of interest on a form provided by the City Recorder affirming the legal qualifications for office.
Qualified applicants shall submit a written statement of interest on or before the deadline for submission of statements of interest which is 4:00 p.m., January 14, 2026, in the Office of the City Recorder, Eagle Mountain City Hall, 1650 E. Stagecoach Run, Eagle Mountain, Utah.
