00 11 10 INVITATION TO BID TOOELE CITY CORPORATION SOLAR DRYER IMPROVEMENTS General Notice Tooele City Corporation (Owner) is requesting Bids for the equipment of the following Project: SOLAR DRYER EQUIPMENT PROCUREMENT Bids for the Project will be received at the Tooele City office located at 90 North Main St, Tooele, UT in room 227, until January 22, 2026, at 2:00 pm local time. At that time the Bids received will be privately opened and evaluated. The Project includes the following Work: Furnishing and supplying Goods and Special Services for Solar Dryer to be installed by a Contractor selected by Tooele City Corporation. Obtaining the Bidding Documents Project Specifications will be issued in digital format (PDF) and may be obtained by contacting Tooele City Public Works, 90 North Main, Tooele, Utah 84074 beginning on December 23, 2025, during office hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. by calling (435) 843-2130, or by email addressed to laurab@tooelecity.gov. All Bidders must register with the City in order to be considered for the Award of Bid. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Tooele City Hall, Room 227 90 North Main St. Tooele, UT The bids for this project shall be submitted to the city before 2:00 pm on January 22, 2026. Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and may obtain electronic copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described above. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept or reject the whole or any part of any bid, to award schedules separately or together, or to waive any informality or technicality in any bid in the best interest of the City. Only bids giving a firm quotation and properly signed will be accepted. Pre-bid Conference Prospective BIDDERS are encouraged to attend a virtual pre-bid conference on January 8, 2026 at 2:00 pm local time. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required. For meeting invitation, email ahobson@jub.com. The object of the conference is to acquaint BIDDERs with the site conditions, specifications, and to answer any questions which BIDDERs may have concerning the project. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Selection Schedule, as currently envisioned, is provided in the table below. Owner reserves the right to modify the schedule as deemed necessary.
