NOTICE OF ORANGEVILLE PUBLIC HEARINGS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Utah Code Ann. § 10-20-205 that Orangeville City Planning and Zoning Commission ('the Commission') will hold a public hearing on January 6, 2026, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at 25 North Main to receive public comments and discuss proposed amendments. Orangeville City Council will hold a public hearing on January 8, 2026, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at 25 North Main to receive public comments and consider amendments to multiple sections of city code, updating references to renumbered sections of Utah State Code regarding: Ordinance 2026-2 - Consideration of an ordinance, amending Orangeville City Code to adopt the accurate cross-references to state code into city code. 1. Title; Intent and Purpose; Interpretation a. 11-1-2 Intent and Purpose: - 10-9a = 10-20 b. 11-3-10 Amendments to Title (D): - 10-9a-503 = 10-20-503 - 10-9a-503(4) = 10-20-601 c. 11-4A-3 Zoning Regulations Adopted (A): - 10-9a-102 = 10-20-101 d. 11-4B-6 Public Meetings; Official Business and Training Only - 10-9a-201 = 10-20-201 - 10-9a-201 = 10-20-201 e. 11-4B-11 Purchase and Sale of Land - 10-9a-303 = 10-20-303 f. 11-4C-2 Organization of Board; Meetings; Duties of Members; Compensation (B): - 10-9a-201 = 10-20-201 g. 11-4C-8 Notice of Hearing of Appeal; Right of Appearance - 10-9a-201 = 10-20-201 h. 11-4C-10 District Court Review of Board Decision: - 10-9a-801 = 10-20-1109 i. 11-15E-5 Vacating or Changing a Subdivision Plat: - 10-9a-608 = 10-20-811 - 10-9a-609 = 10-20-812 j. Subdivision Plat Procedures (when completed) 10-9a-601 through 605, 608 = 10-20-801 etc. The code text amendments are not intended to modify policy but merely to ensure sections of City Code which reference the State's Land Use and Development Management Act (LUDMA) point to the correct section as it is currently numbered in state statute.
